Hi! My name is Christian. I’m a founder and teacher here at Muhrdrums. I’ve been playing drums for more than 30 years and I do most genres of music. I’ve given thousands of hours of drum lessons to drummers form beginner to professional level. All skill levels are welcome.
My academic background started with a music high school in Sweden followed by 2 one-year courses at two different music schools and 1 year at a record engineering school in Sweden. After that I went to America to study at Musicians Institute in LA. I was awarded “Outstanding Student 03/04”.
I'v been in Japan since 2007.

Rumi Muhr
Hello, I’m Rumi. I’m also a founder and a teacher here at Muhrdrums. I Studied at the Musicians Institute PIT in Los Angeles in 2004.
While in America I performed with various artists at restaurants, bars, comedy shows, etc.
I Then moved to Sweden where I Participated in European tours, recordings, radio program appearances, CD releases, and promotional video appearances.
I was an Instructor at the TRUMMERIET Drum & Percussion school in Gothenburg, Sweden.
After returning to Japan in the fall of 2007 I taught at Soul Arrow Music Music School.
I became the 2011 Rhythm & Drum Magazine's Strongest Players Contest 2011 Semi-Grand Prix Winner

Kensuke Hirose
Started playing drums at the age of 16 and studied under Akira Kirisawa and Toshiyuki Sugino.
Graduated in 2005 from the Professional Musician Department at Shobi Music College (formerly Music & Media Arts Shobi).
Began professional activities while still a student, working in support and recording roles, appearing in music videos and on television, and also teaching at music schools and high school music programs.
